acres of land we farm. Although not certified organic the quality of our
products are recognized as superior because of their flavor and shelf
life. Our 2003 gross sales were $17,168.00 in our major market, Garden
amenities include a 15 year old 45 foot by 5 foot bed of rosemary growing
in a permanent season extender, Peppermint and Spearmint permanent beds,
weed barrier for 21 beds and isles, drip irrigation, and concrete
reinforcing wire cages and stakes for tomatoes, peppers and eggplant. The
garden has room for forty-five 45 foot by 5 foot raised beds. We have had
as many as 10 beds of winter spinach growing in 5 forty-five foot walk-in
cold frames During the summer the garden’s irrigation system water cools the house by running irrigation water through a heat exchanger in the house’s heating and air conditioning system air ducts,. The resulting cooled and dehumidified air can drop the house temperature 15 degrees.
